Yes. When specified, our chiller units are built to be water-resistant and approved for outdoor operation, allowing dependable performance outside.
For your safety and the safety of others, always connect the chiller to an outdoor-rated AC outlet that is properly grounded and includes surge protection.
Switch the chiller off before beginning any cold-water therapy session. Although most of our chillers carry an IPX water-resistance rating, they should still be kept dry whenever possible.
Do not immerse the unit or expose it to splashing or direct spraying with water.
We recommend leaving the chiller running when the ice bath is not being used, as this allows the system to continuously filter the water and maintain cleanliness.
Once the desired temperature is reached, the chiller automatically shuts off to help conserve energy and improve efficiency.
For safety reasons, always turn the chiller unit off before starting your ice bath session.
